
These two roadsters are arguably the best value BSA unit twins. Continuous development had brought a two way damped front fork, and an eight inch twin leading shoe front brake from 1969.
In 1970 a revised clutch mechanism meant that the cable entered the timing cover from above, rather than taking an unsightly loop around the cylinder base.
The Royal Star was finished in flamboyant blue - flamboyant red in 1967 - and the Thunderbolt in black.

A65 Thunderbolt is arguably the best value unit construction twin. Double damped front fork and tls front brake are useful features.
