where to find the International Rally 2009

the rally will be held in the south of the Netherlands on Campsite Schoonbron at Schin op Geul.
Schin op Geul is situated in the south of the province Limburg, 3 km east from Valkenburg, 20 km from Maastricht, 35 km from Aachen (Germany) or Liege (Belgium) and 100 km east from Brussels.
The campsite is fitted with all conveniences. The campsite offers enough space for tents, caravans and mobile homes and has electric hook-ups (4 Amp.) all over the field and several water taps. For more convenience you can hire a caravan at a reasonable price. More information about the campsite see their website www.schoonbron.nl (sorry, Dutch only).

additional campsite information

reservated caravans will be available 5th september from 10:00 uur.
you can get the key for your caravan at the reception of the campsite (reception is opened from 8:00 until 20:00h daily). When you arrive later, let us know in advance, or when your arrival will be unsuspectedly later, speak/report to the rally-organisation in the marquee.
in the caravans there are pillows, but no sheets nor blankets. Take your own sleepingbag!
If you would like to have blankets, they can be rented in combination with sheets only. Because of the limited availability of blankets, it is advisable to rent them beforehand. Let us know when they are needed. Send an email to ir2009@bsa-oc.com.
costs for 1 week (to be payed at arrival):
- 1 persons bed: 1 pillow-slip, 1 upper- and 1 bottom sheet €7,--;
- 2 persons bed: €12.--.
saturday 5th September the barrier at the campside will be open the whole day. For the rest of the week the barrier will be closed and will open with a card only. Motorcycles (not too wide) can pass the barrier at the side. If needed (car / sidecar) you can get a card when you book-in at the marquee.

how to find

from Eindhoven A2 direction Maastricht. After you have passed Maastricht- Aachen-Airport take exit Meerssen / Valkenburg. At the small roundabout at the end of the exit go left (Meerssen). Then follow the signs Valkenburg. In and after Valkenburg you keep going straight on (just follow the road)until you get into Schin op Geul. After the village on your lefthand side you see an ESSO petrolstation, the campsite is some meters further on your righthand side.

from Belgium (Luik/Liège): A2 direction Maastricht / Eindhoven. From Maastricht (traffic lights) follow direction Aachen/Heerlen (A79). Take exit Valkenburg. Turn right at the end of the exit. At the roundabout you turn left.
Now follow (always straight on) the signs Valkenburg centrum / Schin op Geul and Gulpen. After Schin op Geul on your lefthand side you see an ESSO petrolstation, the campsite is some meters further on your righthand side.

from Aachen / Heerlen (A76): at Heerlen follow A79 direction Maastricht. Take exit Valkenburg. Turn left at the end of the exit. At the roundabout you turn left again. Now follow (always straight on) the signs Valkenburg centrum / Schin op Geul and Gulpen. After Schin op Geul on your lefthand side you see an ESSO petrolstation, the campsite is some meters further on your righthand side.
